We are pleased to offer G6PD testing as an add-on to any of our lab panels for an additional $45. This test is particularly important for clients seeking high-dose vitamin C infusions, as G6PD deficiency can increase the risk of hemolytic anemia when undergoing such treatments. G6PD (Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase) deficiency is a genetic enzyme disorder that affects red blood cells, and testing is crucial to ensure the safety of treatments like high-dose vitamin C. Please note that this test is only available as an add-on to a panel and cannot be done as a stand-alone test.
